Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how subscription cancellations and refunds work for Appvora. It applies to paid Growth plan subscriptions billed monthly or yearly through Razorpay. It doesn't apply to the Free plan, which has no charge.
1. Cancelling your subscription
An institute admin can cancel a subscription at any time from the Billing page in the dashboard. When you cancel:
- Your plan remains fully active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
- No further charges are made once cancellation is confirmed.
- At the end of that period, your institute automatically moves to the Free plan and its usage limits.
2. Refunds
Because you retain full access for the period you've already paid for, we don't provide prorated or partial refunds for unused time within a billing cycle when you cancel voluntarily.
We do provide a refund if:
- You were charged due to a verified billing error on our part (for example, a duplicate charge).
- A payment was processed after a cancellation request had already been confirmed but not yet applied.
To request a refund under either circumstance, email support@appvora.com with your institute name and payment reference within 7 days of the charge. We aim to review and resolve refund requests within 5–7 business days.
3. Failed or disputed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay will retry it automatically per its standard retry schedule; your subscription status will show as past due until it succeeds or the subscription is cancelled. If you believe a charge was unauthorized, contact us before raising a dispute with your bank or card issuer so we can investigate and resolve it directly.
4. Plan changes
Switching between monthly and yearly billing, or upgrading/downgrading plans, takes effect on your next billing cycle. We don't charge or refund the difference mid-cycle.
5. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically reflect within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
